The organising board of the Da Nang Tourism Logo and Slogan Competition 2013 recently announced that they have decided to extend the deadline for receiving entries to 20 March 2014 to attract more contestants and better entries. It is scheduled that an exhibition of the best 20 entries will be held from 8 to 18 April 2014 and the award ceremony will take place on 30 April 2014.

In addition, the organising board has decided to increase the prize for the winning slogan and logo from 30 million VND to 100 million VND.

As of 13 November, the competition’s organising board has received a total of 492 entries of 289 domestic and foreign contestants, and none of them has met the competition’s requirements.

The award ceremony for the public vote for the most favourite among the best entries uploaded on the competition’s fanpage at will be held on 25 December.

The Da Nang Tourism Logo and Slogan Competition 2013 was launched since July this year. The event aims to find a new impressive and meaningful logo and slogan which will help to locate and identify Da Nang as a tourist destination. In addition, the competition aims to give the city tourism a professional image to tourists and investors. The competition is open to all Vietnamese and foreigners, with no limit on the number of entries.
