Da Nang’s Tien Sa Taxis Company Reduces Rates

On 10 November, Da Nang’s Tien Sa Taxis Company has become the first taxi company to reduce its charges, by between 700VND and 1,500VND per km, as a result of the recent decreases in fuel prices.

So far this year, the price per litre of petrol has reduced by 4,250 VND in total, whilst diesel 0.05S has dropped by 3,580VND and kerosene by 3,250VND.

According to Mr. Le Vinh Quang, The Board Chairman of Phu Hoang Transportation and Service Joint Stock Company, the owner of Tien Sa Taxi (in Danang and Quang Binh) and Vang (Golden) Taxi (in Hue): “This is one of the actions of Phu Hoang Company to support the price stabilizing strategy of the Government, at the same time, reduce the fare according to the petrol price reduction. After the lower price of petrol, we are calculating to balance and provide the discount routes for ensuring not only the customer’s rights but also our revenue, and we have offered a reduction of 700 VND to 1,500 VND per km according to the car categories. Our company is the first in the Central Vietnam and one of the only two companies throughout Vietnam to first implement the reduction of taxi fare.

Currently, there have been 1,200 cabs of 6 taxi service providers in Da Nang.
